Jack Moffitt is well known in the Open Source world. He is a founder of Xiph.Org Foundation and former member of the Jabber Council/Foundation board.

He is the co-founder of Chesspark.com, a new online chess network (built on a web2.0 / Jabber platform).

Jack was also a co-founder of Green Witch Internet Radio, which was sold to CMGI in web 1.0 days. He wrote the Icecast server and Green Witch streaming architecture.
