Media blogger and business consultant Jeff Jarvis is associate professor and director of the interactive journalism program the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism. He also writes a new media column for The Guardian.

An outspoken advocate of "citizen journalism," his views are widely sought by new and old media alike.

Jeff previously served as a television critic for TV Guide and People magazine, and was the creator of Entertainment Weekly. He was also Sunday editor and associate publisher of the New York Daily News, and a columnist for the San Francisco Examiner.
