Joshua Schachter
Joshua Schachter (born 1974) (pronounced [Shak-ter]) is the creator of del.icio.us, creator of geoURL and co-creator of Memepool.
On March 29, 2005, he announced he would work full-time on the del.icio.us project. The site is an online bookmarks repository, where uses create and share tags to describe and link content.
Del.icio.us helped to popularize the use of tags on the web, particularly within the blogging community.
On December 9, 2005, del.icio.us was acquired by Yahoo!, Inc. for an undisclosed sum although according to Business 2.0, the acquisition was close to $30 million, with Schachter's share being approximately $15 million.

i've never used it like that. i just love it because it let's me use multiple computers and move from browser to browser without feeling so cripled.
delicious changed the way i'm able to work in a research-base team. it changed the way i'm able to teach research-based writing classes. just a brilliantly logical thing to do.
Yeah this guy has been big recently. del.icio.us is awesome.
