Stephen Brodsky is a musical enigma. His musical influences span at least 5 decades. Undoubtedly, most people's record collections are as varied as Brodsky's, yet when Steve sits down to write a song he can pull from any era and make it Gold all over again. Listening to Steve's solo recordings, it is evident that he is a talent capable of succeeding in each musical venture he completes. His main duties are with the space rock juggernaut Cave In. But make no mistake, his solo records are a silent gift from him to all of us.
Brodsky is known best as the frontman for the group Cave In. Cave In released records with RCA and Hydra Head Records. Brodsky is also know for his solo work and work with the group New Idea Sociey, a band Brodsky carries out with Mike Law(Eulcid) and Santos Montano (Old Man Gloom, Zozobra, Forensics). New Idea Society has releases with Magic Bullet Records.
