Mr. Sykes grew up on a Sioux Indian Reservation/Commune in Colorado - His father was a guitar player, and he spent the first 8 years in recording studios.

He was the little curly red head running around knocking all the faders out of place.

Fast forward to; going to culinary school after working at a winery in Napa Valley (Beringer), he moved to Prague to drink, stopped in Firenze played harmonica for rent, ran out of money, worked as a chef for over a year, and moved to Ios, Greece. Then back to Sonoma to cook, then to Beverly Hills, until he realized that 14 hours a day, 6 days a week really wasn't the life he wanted.

Got into computers, then design, fulfilled his need to be creative, got good, started his own design consulting co., economy went to crap, he didn't feel that he was expanding personally, wanted to put himself through the ringer, joined the USMC Infantry Reserves (one weekend a month), after bootcamp, found a great job in software (design), got called to fight a war in Iraq (front lines) "on. He became the first unit in Saddams Palace, fought battles near Babylon.

Learned the real value life, family and friends.

He is now alive and well living in Seattle, and working for Microsoft.
